The Rules of Disciplinary Procedure of the Public Service of Western Provincial Council enacted to determine Disciplinary Procedure of the Public Service of Western Provincial Council by virtue of the powers vested on the Hon. Governor of the Western Province under Section 32 of the Provincial Councils Act, No. 42 of 1987, have been published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 2203/27 of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka dated 2020.11.26, having them published by the Hon. Governor of the Western Province.

These Rules shall be operative from 2020.12.15 and after that date, such Rules shall be applicable regarding the Disciplinary Procedures of the Public Servants of the Western Provincial Council. Also, these Rules shall be operative without prejudice to the actions taken under Chapter XLVIII of the Establishment Code, regarding the Public Service of the Western Provincial Council as at the operative date of these Rules.

The required forms have also been determined by the Chief Secretary in terms of the Section 46 of the Disciplinary Rules published for the Western Province and the Rules of Disciplinary Procedure and required forms can be downloaded from this website.
